Coach Mckoy graduated from Ashbrook High School in 2010. While attending Ashbrook, Jordan successfully juggled the demands of school and his love for track and field. His passion for the sport extended beyond performance. In addition to receiving both state and national titles all 4 years he was selected to help pioneer the vision for the track team. His aid to the team came primarily from his role as the team’s captain for 3 consecutive years.
During his time at Ashbrook, Coach Mckoy received numerous titles. During the 2007/2008 school year he was named AAU State Champion in the 800 meter dash, triple jump, and took 2nd in long jump and the 400 meter dash. During his 2009/2010 school year he took 2nd in long jump and 3rd in triple jump at Indoor Nationals. He was also named Field MVP in 2009 and 2010. Along with his titles he was named to All County Track and Field for 4 years, and All Conference Track and Field for 3 years.
Coach Mckoy has 15 years of competitive experience as a Track and Field Athlete. His passion and love for the sport has lead him from competition to now leading and coaching. He currently serves the track community with dual roles at H.O.P.E. Fitness as their Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and the Assistant Track and Field skills Coach.
