Hi I'm Lincoln Carr III. My knowledge and love for physical fitness and training comes from me being a track & field athlete and a student of fitness my entire life. My mother was a track and field and cross country collegiate athlete while my dad was a high school track athlete and jumper. Therefore I believe I was indirectly influenced and inherited my talent and interest in fitness genetically. I have been a track and field athlete since i was five years old and have been for more than 19 years. I am currently in training for the 2016 Olympics. I ran for the Fayetteville Flyers which is a USA Track and Field Junior Olympic team from age five to eighteen. I attended Pine Forest High School all four years of High School where I was a two time state indoor champion in the triple jump and one time state indoor champion in the long jump. During my outdoor seasons in high school, i was a two time state champion in the triple jump and a one time state champion for the long jump. I also have won two national titles in the triple jump, one indoor and one outdoor. Nationally for the long jump I tied for second place indoor and always placed in the top eight during the outdoor seasons. I later attended the University of South Carolina for two years on a full scholarship where I was a ALL-SEC one time indoor and two time outdoor in the triple jump event.
My interest and love for fitness and being a personal trainer is motivated by seeing the transformation of peoples bodies and the reactions people have when they notice their transformations. I love helping people accomplish their goals of being physically fit and living a healthier lifestyle. I also like helping people gain mental toughness, building up their self confidence and self esteem by pushing them past their norm, changing their "I can't" to a "I can" and "I will".
